tuned again... OSIRIS is the s**t
Osiris is awesome!!!!
i just added a blox spacer and had Lawrance retune the car. gained about 20hp though out the powerband. 256hp now. with great feel.
everyone with a Z with mods should check there a/f. because with mods they seem to run somewhat lean.
plus with the Osiris, your throttle response is so much better. "no more DBW lag"
just thought i'd share.

I dug though his past posts. He had Intec do the tuning aspect of the reflash.
You can buy and install the Osiris reflash yourself. but you get off the shelf programs. If you have someone dyno tune it, it's closer to being individualized for your car. You can of course get email flashes but for all the pre-wideband 02 guys, you have to buy an aftermarket wide band and rpm reader so UpRev as a reference to work the a/f from.

i dyno'd before the spacer install. 235.4 and after re-tuning 256.8.
lawrance is the one who tuned my car. (very good). Intec is the NW distributor for Osiris. The program that Intec sells is fully customized to your car. So you dont have to send anything out, he can do it all there.
he's a friend, so i talked to him about hooking my 350z people up and we came up with this...
Anyone interested in purchasing. call or talk to (Lawrance) and tell him Scott sent you. and he'll sell it for 800.00 with a base tune. for NA cars.
note.. 03 Z's need o2 hooked up. (04+ later dont, your o2 can be used for a wideband.) lucky....

it was'nt just for 20hp. i tuned before and got 235hp. thats with k&n typhoon intake, strup headers, hfc, JIC Ti. exhaust. still gotta get a Y-pipe.
then i got the Blox spacer and re-tuned and got 256.8.
utec is a piggy back. piggy backs are not good.. Reason being is that the stock ecu is always changing the maps of the piggy back unit.
my friend has a G35 and hated it cuz of the E-manage. he just got osris and loves it. the car is so much more responsive. and stable.
having a fully tunalbe car is much better.. and safer.

I think a stock Z dyno's 240...?
The Z's computer should be able to read any extra air coming into the engine and compensate the fuel accordingly with bolt on mods. You may be able to tweak it a little to get 2-5hp more across the band, but 20hp basically tells me something was probably not right in the first place.

what is your automotive back ground again?? the Z's stock ecu does not compensate with different mods. if so why would anyone change it ?? you could just put on whatever and call it good. and run at peak hp??
so what was your a/f at? when you run lean your going to have a bit more.
maybe your engine is gifted ?? just saying compaired to stock and now is a big difference.
PLUS i know my car is not running on the lean side.

For my situation, there is not UTEC or other piggy option. My ecu has a completely diff connector. So while possible, it requires a complete custom wiring hack. Uprev and Cobb are the few that can handle my very early G sedan ecu.
IMHO, I don't know how well that $800 pricing is. Uprev's on site pricing is $700. It already comes with some of the base maps. If Intec's price comes with 2 hours of tuning, that might be a decent deal. But from a glance, it looks like he marked up the retail price by $100. Sorta a shame because I know he gets a vendor discount.
One thing that's diff with Osiris vs Utec is that the price also comes with OBDII diagnostics with Nissan enhanced features (stuff normal obdII can't do unless you have the autoenginuity obdII).
