You might want to hold out till the end of this week or early next week. Hydrazine is debuting a new exhaust system by Motordyne called "Shockwave". Motordyne's previous products have been nothing but spectacular, so I would wait to see what the real deal is, especially since its only a few days.

edit: HKS TD is not for F/I ... it is a very good N/A exhaust.
so there's Titanium piping and canister (Ti), Stainless Steel piping with Titanium canister (ST) or a complete Stainless Steel piping with Stainless canister (SUS) System...

what's wrong with just full SS? I mean BORLA dwells in it.

I think NISMO exhaust are meant to work with OEM cats. Maybe TP/HFC have thinner walls... who knows.

Anyways I drove to West Covina this morning and picked up the exhaust for $750 plus tax. Quality of the weld and construction looks top notch. The muffler was heavier than I thought. Can't wait to install it.

What I'm a little confused is, who owns who? Nismo? Weldina? Fujitsubo? Nissan?

I don't think the Nismo exhaust itself will be raspy. Its when they add TP/HFC to it that causes it to be louder/raspier... I'm guessing

Niiiiiice.... You'll like how it is civil at low RPMs but produces a nice sound at 3k+ when under load.

Dkorr - Did you get the gasket kit? You'll need it since you can't use the stuff from the old exhaust.

According to the following link at Courtesy Nissan parts, the gasket kit is included with the Nismo exhaust

http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...Category_Code=

"Nissan replacement hardware and gasket kit for the 2003 to 2004 350Z NISMO S-tune Cat-Back Exhaust System.
This Hardware and Gasket Kit is included with the NISMO S-tune Cat-Back Exhaust System, it is also sold separately as replacement parts."

I hope the exhaust includes everything needed to install, I just ordered one today.

The Nismo Shop says the gasket kit comes with the new exhaust too.
http://www.thenismoshop.com/ikorb.ph...oduct_id=12350
"Genuine Nismo Exhaust Gasket Set for Nismo Exhausts and Y-Pipe installations.
This is the same kit that comes with the Nismo Exhaust System when buying it new."

A complete exh system would run $1500-$2000, and individual components would be $500. $480 for just the Y-pipe I believe (correct me if i'm wrong). That system is meant for people who already have an aftermarket system and who would like to mix-n-match parts for best configuration. I'm starting with nothing but OEM. I'm sure the XYZ is the best one out there, but for me, it comes down to cost. The Nismo S-tune was OTD at $810 (plus gas money to drive to LA)... and lunch.

YES. The system came with all the hardware one would need... including gaskets.

I went to the showroom to see if they had the GT-Rs there, but they were sold.
