Default Axle clicking, bad experience with local dealership.

I have a 2004 Touring roadster with 53,000 miles that just recently started the dreaded axel clicking. No sweat I thought after looking through all the posts stating that Nissan fixed this TSB problem under the 60,000 mile powertrain warranty. So I bring it down to Burien Nissan, who I have been going to for the year that I have had the car. I talk with the rep there who informs me that there will be a $95 diagnosis charge. I tell him that I allready know what is going on, infact I have the TSB printout in hand. He tells me that this charge is unnavoidable for them to work on my car. Whatever, I say fine as long as the actual fix will be covered under the warranty, he explains to me that as long as the fix has to do with the powertrain it should be no problem. Long story short, "I'm sorry but this fix is not covered under the warranty becasue we are not replacing the axel, we are just re lubbing it."
So now I'm out $100 bucks just to have them look at it and they want to charge me $500 to have it fixed. Screw them, I take it to my friends at Walts auto on 4th just south of seattle and they take care of me. That will be the last time that I will ever spend another dollar at Burien Nissan, it's too bad too, becausing I'm coming up on 60,000 miles and I will be needing a tune up around then.

I went to Korums Nissan in Puyallup for the clicking too. They had my car for two days, but gave me a rental and it did not cost me a thing! Not even my deductable. Very nice. Except the Sentra rental is not my Z.
