1/4 mile times
I finally made it out to Pacific Raceways last night to record some baseline numbers and hope that others will share their times/experiences. First off, the event was amazingly disorganized but from talking to other people my experience appeared to be the norm. Despite that, I was able to make 3 passes between 1700 when they started and 2030 when I got sleepy.
1st pass was 15.299 @ 89.3 with an RT of .752
2nd pass was 15.105 @ 89.6 with an RT of .586
3rd pass was 15.371 @ 87.05 with an RT of .131 (caught myself admiring the 454 Nova blowing past me @ the 1000' marker!)
I was kind of dissappointed with my time and speed after the first pass, expecting to hit high 13's or low 14's based on what I've read in this forum, but I came to the conclusion after 3 relatively close runs that 15's are my current reality (Will update after additional mods).
My ride is an 04 automatic Roadster (mods are listed) and I was running in manual mode. Please share your 1/4 mile information and vehicle setup as to either brag or console me.

14.1 was my best when stock if I remember right. Might have been a 14.3. My best so far is a 13.025 @119 I think. SHould have been faster, but my 60' needs work. Was a 2.1. All in All not too bad for street tires.
I got a 14.4 with my subs and girl in the car with my 19"s. think if I had been alone with my subs out, and aired down the tires could have gone high 13's. Hey drew get those r888's and then run bet you will be in the high 11's

do you have alot of extra weight in your car? how big are your wheels? cause your not even trapping at 90 mph, you should be high 90's to very low 100's. i trapped at 89 on my sisters rsx-s with an intake.
if you don't have alot (and i mean alot) of weight, and ur wheels arent huge (21's +) there could be something wrong with your car, you should get it checked out, cause those trap speed are abnormally low, even for a vert auto

high 11's is unreachable I would think on stock block power. Mid to low 12's is easily reachable though with the right tires and a good launch.

You guys are crazy if you think you can reach 12s with a stock Z. The 335's stock don't run 12s and that's with a TT. 13.6 1/4 mile. And if you're not a pro, you're probably looking at low 14s with a stock Z.

Great information...you guys have brought up some good points. Just what I hoped for!
I have the Touring trim package with nav. Also, aren't the convertibles heavier than coupes to begin with? I ran with 20's that are both wider and heavier than my stock wheels.
Supposedly the stock ECU can adjust AF to compensate for the exhaust but I wonder if the headers, intake, and manifold have leaned the car out more than the ECU can compensate. The car has not been tuned or flashed since the stuff was bolted on so there is undoubtedly some untapped performance there.
Will get a dyno run before my next mod to see where I am at the wheel.

I am going to upload my time slips to that thread this afternoon. My times are slow but don't seem that out of line when I look at some of the other postings there, however, there are some variations which makes me wonder just how heavily weighted atmospheric conditions affect a NA car as opposed to the other variables.

Yes, mainly the intake and manifold are killing you. You need a retune asap. You're trap speeds are way, way too low though. With your traps that low, I'd be somewhat worried about not having a tune with those mods as there is possibly something wrong with your car right now as it sits.
For comparison sake, my N/A 2001 Subaru 2.5 RS with just bolt on was running 14.9s @ 89 mph. And in my stock 06 Z I ran a 13.810 @101 mph.
