Default FS: Ariel Atom Harasser - '92 Civic 3dr Street Legal TRACK CAR!

I'm not sure if there is a market for a car like this in these forums, but I thought I'd give it a shot. I bought a new Z, so my other "baby" has to go...

**********************************************

Buy with confidence This is the real-deal. No secrets, or hidden problems. If you're looking for a *****-out street legal race car, or if you're looking for a car to compete professionally in H1, this is the platform for you. Only selling to make room for my new car. If I had the extra garage space, I wouldn't even have to second guess keeping it.

PRICED to move fast! I'm looking for a quick sale. Updated pics taken below + Video!

I'm selling my beloved fully street legal, race-prepped & track-proven '92 Honda Civic Dx 3dr.

Honda tuning has been my passion for a very long time. I'm now 28yrs old, and I've seen it all. To honda-tech.com's standards, I might be considered a grandpa :P Most of the old members on that site can vouch for how meticulous, and picky I am on how I build my cars. I have put in quite an obscene amount of money into this EG, including the $2375 coilover suspension. But I build with one concept only...build it right the first time, and pick the highest quality parts. ***Most of the parts on this car were purchased brand new, and are less than 1yr old.

The B18C5 motor was fully built by Intec Racing (Kent, WA) 2 yrs ago. Then last winter, I gave it a fresh re-ring, changed out all gaskets, and rechecked all clearances. (All receipts included) Immediately after the refresh build, the car was brought to Chris at Intec Racing where he tuned it on the dyno for 2.5hrs and produced a reliable 200whp, 133ftlb torque! The motor was tuned for reliability on the road course...not to squeeze every last ounce of horsepower. Since the tune, the motor has seen only 5k miles.

This car is not for the faint of heart! It is as close to an actual road race car you can legally drive on the street. Not daily driven...Only driven occasionally on the weekends, or at the track! There were only a few cars that managed to pass this on the road coarse the last couple of track events .... Porsche 911 GT3, Porsche 911s turbos, and NSXs on R-compounds. This hatch was not half-assed, and is tuned to the highest level.

As much as I hate the civic nation, nice car.

BTW, I notice you have racing gloves on in the video. You need to wear them when you come to meets, it is a requirement.

I agree, it didn't cost me $60K to build my car like it costs to buy the new Ariel 3. The owner of the Ariel in the video was very impressed with my setup during that event, and was shocked that he couldn't shake me loose. I think I convinced him to build a civic at a fraction of the cost. Cool guy, and cool car nonetheless

i wasn't really refering to the speed, driving an atom is an experience in itself, something a civic can never give you

don't get me wrong, i'm not saying ur civic is crap cause its a civic, infact, i'm thinking of building an ek myself in the near future, its just no atom

Atom doesn't compare to any car for that matter...maybe except for a go-kart, or F1.

Open car + open wheel = ****.

is this the same civic that you had at PR last time I saw you? It looked really clean and was incredibly fast...but I don't recall the CF hood and some other parts too. (but that rear brace looks familiar..it's beefy!)

*I've been competing in autoX this yr, so I haven't been to a track day in awhile...hopefully next yr I'll be able to make a few days at PR.

Hahaha..Yea, same civic. Except, this time its about 10seconds faster around PR. New suspension, new motor, higher HP....plus better driving skills Hopefully I'll see you next year. My Z should be ready by then. I'd love to play some cat & mouse at the track against your BEAST!
