Transponder key
Where can I get a 2003 350z transponder key cut and reprogrammed besides the dealership for 150$ in the Bellevue-Seattle area? Thanks.

BTW. Unless you found a locksmith to do the transponder key reprogramming, you still have to go to the dealer.
I went to Kirkland Infiniti to have all my keys/remotes programmed (must do). Although I've programmed my remotes myself (it's easy), the key themselves is a dealer thing and cannot be DIY done.
I actually taught the service guy at Infiniti that using aftermarket keys are viable. It won't have the Infiniti logo but who cares? It's my spare key anyway.

They take the transponder from an existing key (that I didn't have) and glued into the flip key (as they were doing the conversion)
I didn't have the key nor was I refering to a flip key conversion in my post. I was only refering to a replacement key and seperate key remote. Which the OP was referring to I assume as he has an 03?

I have an 03 and I lost my keys and alarm remote and you cant order the remote by itself because the alarm just came out, I wont mention model for security reasons, I have a backup remote but no spare key or primary remote. Got only 1 key from the dealer when I bought used. I bought 2 ebay transponders and eastside nissan will cut for 10 a piece and program as many as you want for 57.50. So my car is just sitting at one of the propertys I manage. I have not driven my car since the first week of December. But the keys are in the mail so it'll be nice to drive it again.

Got keys in the mail today. I paid for express shipping and they were sent to my old address in AZ due to paypal and I recieved them today. Two ebay transponder keys at 8 dollars a piece. Going to get my car towed to eastside nissan tomorrow. Car has been sitting since December 14th.

Biggest fiasco in my life. Kens towing came out to tow it and my aftermarket alarm remote stopped receiving signal from the remote, so I had to have service look up key code in nissan north america service com to cut the key just so i can get in the door so they can tow to dealership so my alarm can baffle the eastside service department for hours on how to turn on valet mode so it went off and off and they said they wanted to shoot it and then I had to go all the way to northgate at rush hour, which I sat in for hour and a half, to get my remotes programmed. Moral of the story dont lose your only transponder key and let your battery die with an aftermarket alarm. Fell in love with driving the z again. By the way transponder keys from ebay for 8 bucks, dealer cuts for 10 a key and will program as many as you need for 57.50. Have at least one spare.
