I took my car in to Seattle Nissan with that issue and they said they can't replicate it. It happens on cold starts everytime, but once the fluids warm up it goes away.

I was wondering if any of you guys had that issue and what did you guys do about it and to which dealership did you have it serviced at.

 

Never had any grinding except unintentionally when I am trying to shift too fast and let out the clutch too soon

 

I got the grind this morning. I tried something new. At dead stop, I would shift with the clutch fully down to second. No grind. Third, grind. Fourth through sixth no grind. Back to third, grind.

There is a definite 3rd gear grind with the clutch fully depressed upon cold start. The only way you will have dealer mimic is to leave your car over night.

It's a known issue, there is a TSB. However, speaking with a buddy with Nissan internal, there remains, no fix. I plan to take it in under warranty at some future date.

 

yeah, I did leave it over night, but dealership for some reason must've been granny shiftin or some crap, but I've read many other post also regarding how people had their tranny replaced and some people are still having the issue. I'm worried if I should bring it in and just end up with the same result or just be nice on a cold start and drive it like that.
