Default Checking with locals first, my exhaust for sale (again!)

I am 100% certain about selling it this time. I had a few people back out last time, and I have had a lot of time to think about it. I'd like to revert back to stock, and could use some money to help pay legal fees (doh!).

If I haven't found someone to take it here by April 9th', I'll sell it online for a little bit more, but definitely throwing this offer out here first for you local dudes.

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/d...rtnumber=16784

that's the rig I purchased, it's about half a year old at this point. it's flawless, no scratches, no dings etc. it sounds great, and I will meet with you in person within a reasonable distance from Everett so you can check it out first. It's a 3" dual muffler set up (still a Y pipe/midpipe set up), sounds a lot deeper then most exhaust systems, and is pretty mid range as noise levels. sounds great throughout the powerband and isn't too loud when cruising, but noticeable still.

I'll try to borrow a vid cam from the gf's parents this weekend to get a quality audio recording, I tried on my phone but it doesn't come out very good.

Asen and Drew have heard it .. if you care to chime in, feel free. I never asked you guys what you thought, but speak freely.

prices for different options

1: 300$ cash, + your stock 03-05 (is the 06 any different?) system in great condition, + you swap the exhausts or pay to have them swapped.

2: 400$ cash, I'll swap my own stock exhaust back on (my stock Y pipe is questionable so I'd rather get a whole new setup and keep this as a backup), and you can straight up have my system

3: 360$ cash + your great condition stock Y pipe, same as above, I'll swap my stocker in and give you my exhaust set up, and my spare Y pipe that the owner had bottomed out on a couple of times and scraped some of the mesh weave area open (but not all the way to the pipe itself, it's still closed)

I am setting the bar pretty low so I don't feel like there is a lot of room to negotiate. worst case scenario, if none of you want it, I figure I can get a little more online, although shipping sucks and is a last resort :|

Let me know if you want to check it out. here are some random pics, including undercar shots from a little while ago.

I don't really want to part it out mang. I think it would be difficult to sell the rest. I am uncertain if it would fit too.

part of it is me saving money and doing PC work from home over the weekend. had to do some data retrievel and rebuild a client's pc (yay side work, but I need it atm)

bump - wasn't able to get ahold of a good way to record audio yet, still trying to find a good camcorder or audio recorder to borrow for that. not giving up on that it's just a little delayed, still willing to meet people that want to see it in person.

threw it up on craigslist this morning. my cut off date for selling online isn't a "must have cash by this date" sort of deal, just a target area for when I'd like to have something in the works of making a sale.

Considered sold but nothing is for sure until it's gone. I'll revive the thread if for whatever reason it doesn't happen on Saturday, but the guy sounds pretty motivated. thanks for the offers folks.

did you check the amp fuses, fuse under hood, distribution block if you have one, remote turn on, and the other power/ground connections?

That's what I was going to say.

Also, what kind of amp is it? Some amps (including mine) have automatic heat shut off. Mine's only triggered once, from bumping hard for about 2.5 hours, and then it was good to go again in 10 minutes after it cooled down.

Yeah there is something wrong with the inner workings / circuitry.. all the connections and fuses are fine, ground wire is fine.. the thermal light came on, it kept power for a while, now it won't even do that.. if you push on it in certain ways sometimes you can get it to kick on for a second. :/

it's a rockford fosgate - one of their older models. I bought it used, lasted me a good 5 months :/

it's been down since Saturday so I would be inclinded to think it's had plenty of time to cool off. I even turned off my entire system for a couple of days.
