thanks eric. literally a couple minutes before i was ready to start painting color, the bumper fell off my saw horses and cracked more gel coat! i effing hate gelcoat. ground it all off and now finally it is repaired and ready to spray again. hoping to get it wrapped up this week.

well got it all finished up on fri. took off and drove up and down the oregon coast. i do not know if animals are attracted to the front of my car, but managed to hit a phucking bird! it literally blew up and a poof of feathers, lol. no damage, phew! then, last night on my way back, hit a dam skunk!! cut him in 2 and the new front splitter is alot thicker and mounted very solid the the chassis, not just relying on the bumper itself holding it on.
was hoping not to put it through an animal killing test so soon after finishing, but it held up perfect with zero damage!!! i feel like i'm in death race or something with all the animals this thing is creamating, hahhaa.
even though, no damage happened, my car does smell like *** from the skunk![Frown](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif)
will post pics tomorrow after i give it a good washing. between big bugs, dead bird, and skunk pieces, the front is pretty much a sheet of animal dna!!

well, here is a few pics. still not good ones, but ya get the idea.
i called ppg and asked them bout a good clear to help guard against rock chips. they said to just double up on the cataylist and add flex agent to it. well, it changed the consistentcy to what i was used to spraying, and ended up putting a couple runs in it. also, very weird to wet sand. must be flexing under the sandpaper. took a long time to dry.
bottom line though, the trip i took this weekend was about 500 miles, and it was not clean roads like taking I5 or something. outcome, ZERO rock chips!!! couldn't be happier with adding that flex agent now.
so if you guys get the front of your car painted for a body kit or just a repaint, tell them to add the flex!!!
