Default Intec Racing Dyno Day - May 23rd BY RIGHTWHEELDRIVE

Intec Racing is having a dyno day on the 23rd, a few friends and I are going to show up for sure. Anyone else?

it's $40 for 3 pulls, normally $65 for 2. there going to bbq too and have hotdogs and hamburgers and whatnot

probably a good day for anyone interested in the Osiris but not quite sure if they want to make the plunge yet to stop by and ask Lawrence about it!

aren't you a part of intec racing? are you sarcastically advertising this or actually suggesting it from a customer stand point? :P I can't tell.

I just picked up a Z myself, hope to have spacer and exhaust done before the dyno day and get the Osiris up on it. it'll start about 10:30-11am, when the shop starts.

no more osiris giveaways, unless there's a good enough showing.

UpRev was letting them give away a free version, but that was assuming there was going to be at least 15 nissan/infiniti owners entering for it. there were a couple of giveaways at dyno days but only 2-3 Z guys showed up.

Go to Intec's dyno day, fine. Just don't EVER let them tune your car.

I have heard nothing but good things personally, but I am sure he has a bad story to tell with that remark.

I've heard lots of bad things with people that have had work performed ever since the shop first started like 6yrs ago or so, with stuff like engine swaps. Since they fired everyone and got new staff, figured it might be different now. Was proven wrong when a friend had them tune his car. I just found out about it yesterday. Intec didn't know what they were doing, and tried to put the blame on everyone else but themselves. Also heard their dyno is problematic, but I didn't ask for details about that.

If you've had a good experience, that's a good thing...it's just not the general consensus from what I've read/heard. When it comes to tuning, you need to trust your tuner. Good luck with that if you go there.

not that i'm nit picking or anything, but what exactly went wrong? was it a VQ car? they are the only osiris tuner around here, so i was hoping i can go there when i got around to that, but now this is making me reconsider...

go talk to them and get a feel for it yourself imo. in this thread I see one good, solid experience, and then a bunch of heresay from 2nd hand info with a lot of holes and questions to fill.

I'm an insurance broker and in my line of work, I see a lot of lawsuits filed for personal and advertising injuries. Be careful of what you say especially in print (libel) as well as by mouth (slander) as you can be sued. If someone from this forum tells Intec that they didn't come or do business with them because of something you said and it's later proven that such events did not occur (i.e. bad motor swaps, bad tunes, etc.) you can be on the hook for damages. Trust me, I've seen some pretty outrageous claims and suits that were won by plaintiffs on this same premise.
