I always worry about catching flack about legalities and tinted tails. isn't there some weird law stating red reflection must be visably present in all conditions from a certain viewing radius?

either way, looks good dude. I'd like to do it myself some day.

 

Yeah, the law states that it must be clearly visible in all lighting conditions from a distance of 300 feet. Or was it 500 feet? One or the other but judging by those pictures, it seems straight. It only gets tricky when it's mad sunny out or if you're an idiot and basically spray paint your tail lights black. There's a thread about the legalities of tinted tails somewhere on the forum, I'll try to find it.

ran into the legality issue 2 months back, the 300 500 feet rule with red shine **** doesnt matter if yuo have any kind of spray or film over the light and you find yourself near a jack *** state patrol they can write you a ticket or correction notice depending on thier mood and you cant fight it D:

 

you did a very nice job, it looks very good. is that the bluebat gtr tint? it looks like the center circles are still untinted? its really hard to tell in just the close-up pictures you posted without seeing the whole car from different angles, but from the pics posted i have to say that imho i agree:

if you were to have tinted headlights and corners it might be a different story though...

 

Really? That's weird, why wouldn't they let you fight it?
