Leavenworth drive June 20th.
I have other plans that I'm committed to, but thought I'd pass along some suggestions since I lived there for a long time and still have family there.
Gustav's is a pub with a nice rooftop seating area. Great burgers, ok homebrewed beer. Hands down my favorite place in Leavenworth if you can get a seat up there on a nice warm day.
Visconti's is average Italian in my view.
If you want beef, the Windmill serves a great steak in a throwback setting in Wenatchee. Homemade everything. Dusty's in Wenatchee has ok burgers, better than In-n-Out, not as good as Sonic and no where near Five Guys Burgers and Fries.
Highway 2 would be my vote. If the traffic is dense take the Lake Wenatchee cut-off and then head down the Chumstick highway to Leavenworth. It's a parallel route to H2, just offset to the east abt 8-10 miles.
The WSP tends to like H2, but I've never seen 'em or the Chelan County Sheriff on this alternate.
There are some great roads to Chelan; the Navarre Coulee is cutoff from Highway 97 to Lake Chelan State park. I did a 120 mph in a 911 on that road in the 80's. The take lakeshore drive into town.
Bring you own woman. While we all know the Z has amazing prowess in attracting the ladies it's not enough to over come the fact that there aren't enough to go around.

i saw pics from the last year drive and it looks like it was fun. The only concern is the fact that load of cars go whose drivers don't seem to have any road manners.
there was an accident last year that delayed everything. I would suggest that we get our own meet going and swing by the place everyone meets and take off earlier than everyone. This way we can avoid the chaos.
