Default Leavenworth drive June 20th.

I was looking at couple of other forums and it seems like was a blast. Does anyone want to go this year? We can set a meet and drive down there

http://www.leavenworthdrive.com
here is the website.
I think we should meet prior to the main meet since we can organize and roll out as a group.

if it's open for discussion my vote is to do our own run. sounds like too many cars will be rollin through and the town will be jampacked.

We should just leave before everyone. It seems like the plan is to leave at 10:30 according to the website.

Let me know how that works out for ya.

I must say though, I am mildly concerned about the number of cars. While I have pretty solid confidence in (most of) our group to not do (too much) stupid stuff, adding that many cars sounds like a recipe for disaster.

I like the idea of having our own drive, but I'm interested either way. The wife and I have always wanted to go out there so we would probably stay the night if we went. Sounds like fun.

In their " What to Bring section...

"Bring a friend along for the ride, even if they don’t have a European car, they can ride with you for the day’s drive"

Sounds a bit "Elitist" to me...Euro-snobs maybe?

yeah I still prefer our own run but I'll go with the flow. I'd rather it be just the Z group - I recall Leavenworth only having a few places to stop at, and if they had 600+ cars last time, who knows how crowded it could get this time.
