Default Shop Tour: Portland Speed Industries

Hey guys I've been traveling up to the northwest to visit some friends and family. Where are all the Z's at? I only spotted a few and got no waves back either! Hah.. Anyway I was on 26 headed to Seaside Beach when I saw a R34 parked outside of a shop so it was time for a rest break and a detour! It so happens to be the same R34 on Modified Mags front cover.I walked inside and was greeted by Jason the shop owner. I had a chance to pick his brain and received the grand tour of the place, all I can say is WOW the place was amazing. I wish they had shops like this in California. I'm thinking about driving my Z back up to Oregon in a couple weeks when they open to get my car worked on. They were really professional and know their stuff. Has anyone been to PSI or have any experiences with them? They are actually located in Hillsboro Oregon off 26, on the way to Seaside Beach. btw when I got to the beach it started to rain

on to the tour:
I was driving on the freeway and saw this beast in front of the shop:

they moved the skyline in the showroom

Its only 10 minutes from my house. The best looking shop I have been to in Wash/Ptd. The tuner that works there use to be at Torque Freaks.

Hello everyone,

I will keep this simple and short (not trying to turn this into a info commercial). PSI is a new name, but not new to the industry of custom fabrication and performance tuning. We specialize in quality and attention to detail. We do have a familiarity with the VQ platform and know the potential of the motor. We have been working behind the scenes for the last two years building facility from the ground up. We encourage you to give us a call or swing down to the shop if you have any questions. here are a few more pictures of the shop.

Enjoy,

Jason

Offices with a Rapid Prototype 3d printer in the corner (not a vending machine)

HD Camera in the dyno area which will be feeding a live video stream to our website as well as beening captured for your dyno session

Shop area from upstairs

05 Viper - getting a little work done - 64 lincoln in the background with a '03 Cobra motor should be @ 600whp

Wasn't there a 'PSI' 300Z and a Skyline at last years UnNatural Dyno day?
I seem to remember the 300Z had PSI on the windshield, and it pulled over 500whp.

That would be us The Z32 was on a set of 2871R and I think we ended up with close to 650 whp @ 23lbs that car was shipped back to California.
