PS - this is going to be for a Viper 5901 alarm w/ remote start

so maybe someone that can install it with the remote start.

also maybe someone that carries it so i could just purchase the alarm from them?

if not its okay cause i can just get them online.

thanks

I was going to say Pete, but I am not certain he is still doing side work. I think his new job pays him a lot better then his installer job did. just speculating, I haven't talked to him since he did my alarm a long time ago

I think Pat knows someone that he spoke highly of but it was at a retail place, so no real price cut on the work.

Pete's still doing side work. I talked to him the other day. He's just had a lot of OTHER stuff going on (besides job and sidework) that he's had to get taken care of. He'll be back in business shortly.

For alarm feedback, I know he installed Alvin's alarm. And I think most folks here have seen my audio setup.

for alarms, lawrence at intec racing is the ****! he just installed a 5901 w/ remote start in a '07 Z just last week. his installs are SUPER clean too. my buddies brother took his car to lawrence without a dash in the car and he was able to hide it so well within the stock harness you couldn't even find it with no dash!

pete's quality is equal. car is as clean looking as it was prior to the install, can't really trace wires or anything. love installers that take pride in their work!

I emailed asking for Lawrence to do an osiris flash/tune on my car.. excited for that.

He's not working for an audio shop any more, so that doesn't work. I'll try and get a hold of him today and let you know.

not really. I got a top of the line clifford model, remote start, 1 mile range etc from pete for 500 or 550 installed, dont remember which.

quite a few hours of labor involved mang. my usual shop quoted me 900-1050 for a similar setup

My buddy John was the car audio install manager at Circuit City until they went bye bye, but he still does work for people. Buy the alarm, and he can install it for cheap. He used to have a G35 too, so you can PM him "aznj"

it really pays to have friends that can do that sort of work. hell we should start a tradeskill thread so we know what everyone's good at, and who will give discounted labor rates on various ****, lol

Just heard from Pete. He's been uber busy with work right now. He said it'd be about 2 weeks out before he'd have time to do your alarm. Let me know if that works for your or not, and if so, we can work out the rest of the details.

He'll have my car again at the end of this month while I'm out of town.
