370z or evo x ?
I think Nissan has dropped the ball on there motor for the Z, yeah it has more HP, but its lacking torque. The EVO's gain HP and torque every year and every model. I love the look of the Z, not a real big fan of the EVO's looks. I think if Nissan would turbo the Z, like the BMW's V6, you will have a monster of a car. Looks and torque. I do prefer the 9 over the X.

As an owner of both an Evo X and a 350Z, I would say that the Evo is the clear choice...
The reasons are plentiful, but you are talking about an all wheel drive car that is boosted from the factory. A 370Z is a beautiful car, but will be very expensive to mod should you ever get the itch to do so.
I got my Evo X and it put down 250ish on a Dynojet bone stock. Simply by tuning the factory tune, we were able to get around 300ish. Then by simply adding bolt on mods (intake, exhaust, intercooler, boost controller) we got it to 350ish before the clutch started to argue with us.
That is over 100WHP for under $3500. That is just not possible on the Z platform.
Also, AWD is much more forgiving on the track then RWD. Again, it all depends on your goals for your next car, but these are things to think about before making your decision. When I learned how "cheap" it was to suck HP out of the X, I almost regretted not picking up an Evo a long time ago instead of the long and expensive lessons I learned from owning and boosting a 350Z.

, and the other being that evos and stis are everywhere in the northwest. everybody has one, and a majority of them owned by military guys (i like to call them "signing bonus cars"
). i guess i like doing things the hard way, knowing that when i'm done how hard i worked to accomplish what i did, even if it is not as fast as g.i. joes 500hp sti.
One other thing that might clinch the deal is that Mitsubishi offers a zero percent financing option on approved credit over 60 months. I love the fact that my monthly payments are all towards the principle on the car and no interest!!!!

That why i am going to see if i can get approve on my poor *** credit! i might even offer them one of my dogs in the trade.
but RWD is SOOOOOOOOO much more fun!!!!! i wanted an evo till i drove my sister's sti on the track, its kinda boring... its just gas, brake, turn, gas. with rwd you actually gotta drive the car and make sure your *** doesn't run away from you, and throttle steering is quite fun also...
idk man, i see alot more z's around than i see evo's. sti's are pretty common though, i'll give you that... 370's are still pretty rare though, i've only seen a few (2 i think) actually on the road...

but on the street, i'd prefer awd. if i never went to the track, then i'd rather have an evo...
