370z or evo x ?
you also have to remember that mitsubishi is giving 0% financing for 60 months (not a lot of money but still helps bring the total price lower). there is an evo rs but just not available in the states
i will agree with you that looks are subjective.

I dunno, I just like coupes and 2-doors in general.
^ go sell your evo.

"The basic RS Edition does not come with power windows, locks, or mirrors, an audio system, rear wing, sound deading material, map lamps or an anti-lock braking system. All Evo VIII RS models sold in the US have an air conditioning system. Power windows, locks, and audio systems could be had in the RS model through the addition of the "Urban Jungle" comfort package"
^sounds like a base model to me.

well i guess he's right. whatever. rs is still quite a bit cheaper than the gsr. so comparing the base evo (gsr) to a base 370, is a bit deceiving because the rs (which is considered not a base by the mitus) is cheaper than the gsr. you get my point, but apparently some don't. oh well, i'm done with this thread. tired of beating a dead horse, lol. time to go play on my scooter

Please uninstall your life. Don't EVER argue Evo knowledge with me.
The RS is a stripped version of the GSR (which isn't even called a GSR in the US until the X's came out). It was purpose-made to be race-prepped, which is why all power everything is gone, there's no trunk liner, it gets the aluminum roof, blah blah blah (since all that **** gets ripped out anyways).
Also, that Wiki article fails since I've seen Evo RS' on the showroom floor with NO A/C.
It is not, I say again, IS NOT, the base model Evo.
Besides all the power comparisons. The Evo does not look to me like a $30,000+ car. I wanna know that some R&D funds went into the development of my exterior and not just what's inside or underneath.
buying a car is not entirely all about HP imo. I would balance everything - looks, comfort, handling pros n cons etc etc.
just buy whatever your heart desires, OP. both cars are fast and good looking anyway. HPwise, it's not like you'll be in a competition everytime you hit the road, so don't buy an evo just because it's faster, unless u really like it. Same goes for the Z.
i'd vouch for the Z though - why? becaue it's got just about everthing you need out of an affordable sports coupe - the looks, power, handling and it's rwd.. much more fun to drive cuz it's more raw and it involves more driver skills during track/circuit days.... but thats just me
