Curbed rim repair review ...
Took my car to Steve's custom cars in Bellevue, I'll repost the before pics for comparison ...
Overall they did a good job, very reasonable $140 but they were a little lacking in the communication department.
I got the quote and made the appointment with Steve but when I dropped off my car (9am) on Wednesday a different dude showed up 10 minutes late.
A woman then called me at 10:52am telling me that the rims were done, it seemed way too fast to be true and when I arrived I had a look and wasn't over the moon with the results especially after being quoted "You will never even know I was there".
After pointing out that the job was not to my satisfaction and chatting for a bit we discovered that they had not re-clear coated the rims which Steve said they would do and this apparently had not been conveyed to the woman doing the job.
The rims were then clear coated and I returned at about 4:30pm to pick up the car, now that I have cleaned the rims I cannot tell that they had been damaged and so I am really happy, I just wish it had gone a little smoother ...
Also, you can kind of see the spray pattern from the clear coating but it looks kinda cool ...
And now for the pics ...

Other pics for fun

Two trips as in wasn't 100% repaired, I'm actually really suprised that they thought the job was done the first time they called me ... and that is why I would be somewhat hesitant in recommending the place.

$140 for both wheels or each? sorry about he mishap, but it looks great. depending on what you use to clean your wheels, if you use a brush it should make the spray pattern look just like the other wheels over time.
