Supposedly this is a V10 quad-turbo putting out 1200rwhp and 2800nm of torque and does the .25 mile in 6.89sec. I suspect it's a one off custom but it looks like it's on a McLaren AMG platform. Anyone know more about this?
Its a chromed mercedes mclaren slr. Does benz even make a v10? The normal SLR is a v8 SC I believe. And rofl at a car with sub 30 series sidewalls doind a sub 7 second quarter mile.
Yeah, that's just a chrome SLR that's had the (functional) wheels replaced. All of the SLRs (722, 722 S, 722 GT, Roadster, Stirling Moss) are the same SC V8. Even the big Mercedes insulters (Hamman, Brabus, and Masonry) don't replace the engine.
yeah dood the math doesn't work out very well. 1 turbo per 2.5 cylinders?
i bet the owner rolls around listening to that one country song over and over... "her favorite color is chrooooooooomeee...!"
If they were to do it tho it'd be 1 turbo per 2 cylinders and leave the other two cylinders alone. Look at this AMG 63 motor where Brabus runs one turbo through 3 cylinders instead of 4 on each side.
