you can also drive around, its about an hour drive from bremerton to seattle during non traffic hours, bridge is 5 bucks now i think (toll only one way, to seattle).

what are you talking about, we get more than 1-2 month of sun, maybe not if you live in ocean shores or something, but bremerton and east is fine. something like 4-8 months (not 4-8 straight) depending on the year

stay in san diego if you like to drive you car the way it is meant to be driven. I am from Washington and will NEVER go back for anything other than visiting family. Once you get there and experience it first hand you will remember what I just typed and think of what a mistake you just made..... just saying....... oh and Bremerton is an Armpit

Im liking all these opinions. The more the better.
Im kinda limited since im in aviation and Im up for a sea tour now. Washington is definitly better than VA and I hate San Diego because im tired of mexicans.

Whidbey is a great place, go to a VQ/VP/VAQ they are all sea tours.

And, I'm from Monroe, WA- I hated it when I left, but after 8 years of being in VA and HI, I wanted to be home more than anything. I would like to stay in WA, but I know I'll have to go somewhere else eventually- I am sticking with the west coast or overseas... the east coast blows.

Let me tell ya something bremermton does blow but hey tacoma is only 25 minutes away and the drive is pretty fast. the base isnt bad but youll scrape goin over the speed bumps. I did in my Z and thats stock ride.

Winter seems to last 6 months of the year - lot of overcast clouds and rain. This limits the enjoyment and fun factor of driving your car to just mostly the drier days in the summer. Not nearly as many tuner cars as down there - but what nice ones are here stand out from the crowd. Take a visit in the winter and if you think you can handle the overcast skys - go for it.
I'm afraid you will miss the driving weather in California.....
