Default Might be moving to Washington

Up for orders and Washington is my primary choice for places to go. '
Trying to figure out how the police react to tuned cars and what smog testing is like there.
Im from California, so I know most places wont be as strict as there. Any insight would be great. Thanks!

You mean Washington, D.C. I take it. You'll be fine, but the new cameras (both speed and red light) really suck...especially because the faster you are going the less likely you will see/react to them. Once you memorize your turf, it's ok. In terms of cops, it's pretty sweet because there's a law that says they have to keep their aux lights flashing while on patrol (to be more visible to civilians in an emergency), so you can spot them from a mile away.

Ok cool. I got an ODBII scanner to remove the CEL when It pops up from my test pipes, so thats no issue. I would probably have to throw on the stock cats though to pass emmissions. No worries there.

Where are you going to be stationed? Island county has no emissions testing. (thats whidbey island for those of you who don't know what I am talking about)

If you're an outdoorsy type, you'll love WA state!

Bremerton is decent enough, you're a little ways away from Seattle (take a ferry, not fun on a Z if its lowered though).

I'm up at VQ-1 on Whidbey, I like it up here!

Haha I know the ricer scene is bad here. Sucks ferry's are the primary way to get around the islands. I'm pretty low too so that might pose a problem.

Well, you can always check the tide tables for departure and arrival... Make sure it is high tide when you leave, and high tide when you come back..

If you love rain and shiet then go for ir but in my opinion Bremerton sucks ***** dont do it!!!!! Ive been out for here for 3 years and regret everyday that I picked orders to come here. This is the armpit of Navy duty stations or better yet its equivalent to that space between someone's *** crack and their *****.
