haha yeah I've gone to some subaru meets and drives and gotten that a bit. pretty funny, they are happy to talk to me and talk about my car and check it out, but if you look back at the pics for the event it's all subbies and maybe my car in the distant background in one or two of the set. : P

Scroll down to April at ZCCW 2010 Calendar of Activities
I imagine it will be similar to last year's drive, where the north meet point was the Star Lake P&R off I-5 (about halfway between Des Moines and Federal Way). They left the Start Lake P&R at 8am, made a couple pitstops along the way south then like ZSport said, met up at Fishers Landing P&R between Vancouver and Camas. I believe the plan called for leaving Fishers Landing P&R at 12:30 after a break for lunch.
I could post the full details from last year if you'd like, but it could be different for this year.

Sounds like fun.
I am deffinately interested...
...But I have no idea what April is going to look like for me and my finances. Otherwise, I'm IN....now to convince the wife why this would be fun to do.

I'm checking with ZCCW to see if there is a group drive down for those in the northern Washington area.
But in the meantime here is the latest on rooms available from ZCCW:
This is a friendly reminder that those of you who plan on going on the Maryhill drive April 17th and 18th only have 3 Days left to take advantage of the 10% discount on the room rates at COUNTRY COUSINS motel.
The motel is holding 10 rooms, (only 4 remain "un-reserved")(With a fiew more available if needed), for the members of the club who will be staying the night of April 17, 2010. The 10% discount expires at close of business day 31 March 2010. All Un-reserved rooms will then be released back to the Motel for the Motel's use.
When making your reservation, tell them that you are with the ZCCW (Z car club)group. Phone number for the Country Inn: (541) 298-5161 of 1800-848-9378
I called today and booked a room. The discounted rates are: $84.60 single bed - $93.60 for a double bed. Anyone having AAA will get the same 10% discount rate also.

Just learned all the Z car club reserved rooms at the listed hotel are SOLD OUT!
These discounted reserved rooms are gone but there should be other rooms still available in the hotel. If you have triple A you can get the same 10% off discount.

I have to pass on this on well.
Looking forward to next years run tho.
Trying to plan for the June 26th run as well as the Sept. drive...and of course the Griots Meet in July listed on the ZCCW site.
Have fun on this drive...and be safe.
