Man stabbed in North Seattle

SEATTLE – A car owner was stabbed Friday evening when he tried to stop two robbers from breaking into his vehicle.

Shortly before 8 p.m., two men were observed breaking into an Infiniti coupe near the corner of NE 77th Street and 16th Avenue NE.

The vehicle's owner, a man in his 40s, tried to stop the crime in progress and was subsequently attacked and stabbed by the suspects.

The suspects then fled the scene in a Ford Explorer that is described as either gray, light blue or green.
The suspects, who remain at large, were described as white males with long hair.

The victim sustained at least two stab wounds to his lower torso. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with information about this incident or who may know the identities or whereabouts of the suspects is asked to call 911 or Seattle Police immediately.

If you were in the car and about to get jacked, gun and shoot to kill.

If youre walking to your car and see it getting jacked, pull out gun, warn them and fire if they come at you. Shoot to kill.

If you dont have a gun, let them take the car, that is what insurance is for. Only shoot if your life is threatened. But shoot to kill.

 

 

This happened to me. Thieves had a large screwdriver. Cops (later) said if I had brandished, I would have been charged with felony assault.

I ended up taking the keys out of their get-away car....and they ran away.

You could say I stole their stolen car.

That's why I got my CPL last summer, ya just never know. Ya you would have gotten busted if you came up on the thieves and just started shooting.... but if you come up on them and warn them you have a gun and then they come after you, by all means, draw and shoot to kill.

 

washingtons laws are screwed.

i knew a guy who served 2 years for shooting at someone stealing his car. the thief was armed with a knife, and went to stab, he shot him in the leg.

thief did 3 months, defendant did 2 years.

 

I agree. But that's not messing with you, that's messing with a car. A car isn't worth someone's life, regardless if they're a piece of **** car thief or not. If they're not putting YOUR life in danger, then just let it go.

 

True...it is just a car. But it's MY car and there is absolutely NO invitation to mess with it.
They aren't putting MY life in danger, just their own.

Now I can't agree that it's ok to shoot somebody for trying to jack some **** from your car. But I have no problem beating them to submission and standing on thier neck until the police arrive. I am not going to just stand there and watch them molest my stuff.

 

Aww...just shot them; put their prints on the gun and say they were trying to commit suicide!!
