http://www.cascadewheel.com/

I used this guy to strip and powder coat my Volks gloss black. Did a good job. I don't think they do the powder coating in house, just the stripping, but don't quote me on that one. I don't think he is the cheapest game in town either, but my wheels look nice.

well now that the new wheels are on the car and outside of my home, I am seeing a lot more imperfections in the day light then in the house light .. bahhhh.

got burned on my new purchase as well. no love!

I really like the wheels though, so I'm just going to have them redone by cascade wheel or maybe a shop in redmond my rx7 buddy went to. we'll see.

Nice! At least one part of this thread has a mildly happy ending.

Yeah, I'm really happy with how the seller is handling it. I expressed some concern over the condition of the wheels and he immediately asked me to tell him what it's going to cost to repair and he'd like to help with the cost on that. couldn't really ask for a lot more.

Also.. my Rota Grids are going in for powdercoating on Monday at a reputable shop. they are 18x9.5 on all four corners in +20 offset, 5x114.3 obviously. if anyone is certain they'd buy them, now is a great chance to pick your color, you'd have to contact me prior to Monday at 3pm though. We can head down to the place together and you can see their shop and pick from their samples.

if not, I'll just recoat them in a similar bronze color and call it good and sell them. I'll be asking 750$.

the powdercoat shop did good work. not my kind of color but the work is great.

here's my pal holding one in sunlight, and a shot in the trunk in shade.

already shipped em to the buyer .. cost a lot more then I thought it would for shipping.

Of all of the wheels I've ever seen in person those are definitely tied for first place of greenest.
