Test Pipe Experiences
With Osiris you can turn the code off so that the ECU ignores it and does not throw the CEL. The code will still be stored in the ECU, however, it just doesn't throw the check engine light and put the car into limp mode.
There are certain system vital codes however that will still cause the car to run in limp mode like ignition and throttle position sensor codes.
Basically if its not a vital function of the engine (like emissions stuff) you can turn it off with Osiris and the car will ignore it

I installed my test pipes with O2 sensors and threw some codes but never went into limp mode.....the car drove fine. Lawrence used Osiris to adjust the ECU parameters so their limits are never exceeded. This allowed me to pass emissions due to the fact that CEL's are no longer triggered. My AF is essentially monitored with my aftermarket gauge.
Just to clarify, limp mode does not mean that your car won't run, and if you don't have aftermarket guages, access to a dyno, or diagnostic equipment you most likely won't know it happened. The ECU just pulls timing and makes the car run rich to try and prevent bad things from happening. It will also do this if you get a bad tank of gas and it detects too much knock
