Looking for a rebuild shop around seattle
A friend needs his 2002 Altima 3.5L rebuilt, and I dont know any shops in the area that know Nissan's...
Anyone recommend a good place?
He is looking for a stock rebuild, nothing special.
Tacoma to Everett would be preferred.

If you really need someone who knows about salvaged vehicles period not limited to nissan, i would go to belred auto. These guys' expertise is unsurpassed. A tuner shop does not deal with cars that have been in any type of accident as often as a strictly dedicated to body work and collision. I would go to someone who can throw your car on an alignment, put wheels to stock alignment specs, see if everithing matches, throughly inspeact seams and welds, remove skid plates, under body covers and so forth to see if everything matches or repaired correctly. If you want an imaculate inspection to be conducted on your car, go to a reputable body shop.

Needs a new long block
I've found new long blocks for about 2200, but then there is shipping, and core charges...
i can do the work, just not the machine work, and prefer someone with more exp. to assembly the bottom end. i dont feel like playing with plasti-guage all afternoon, nor trust my cheap-o tourque wrench to bearings.
did you talk to Lawrence or someone else? anytime i talk to anyone other than Lawrence they don't seam to be too interested in anything... they always have a bunch of friends over that they're watching drifting vids with, customers don't get priority with anyone other than Lawrence from my experience unless the work order is already setup with Lawrence...
damn, whens the last time you were in there? They've been on point every time I've been around, I will admit that over the summer they got distracted every now and then to watch the live streaming of their pro drift car competing, I can't really fault anyone for that tho, a car you've sweat blood and tears for
I don't need to get a hold of him anymore, at least not yet. I was gonna have him put in a remote start system, but decided to get a new clutch first and some other associtated parts. So I can't afford it right now anyway. but thanks for the offer...
A complete rebuild is going to cost many thousands. thousands more than obtaining an used, low miler long block and swapping.
Any particular reason you don't want to consider an used motor and want to spend the $ to get it rebuilt?
