Didn't click on the link, but are you talking about mixing the 75w80 and 75w90 to make the 85? If so that's been out for some time.

I'd still recommend using the Nissan transmission fluid. General concensus seems to be that it's the smoothest/safest thing you can buy.

I switched to Motul gear 300 and it seems to shift smoother, fluids looked good when I checked it as well
