Looking for cheap major upgrade
Well as title says, I'm looking for some performance driving classes.
Was wondering if anyone went to one before, and if so what were your experiances?
What is typical pricing of such class and is it worth it?
Would it be just better to go to a course and solo learn than attending such class?
Do you need to buy racing suit/helmet ext.. or are they provided?
Thats few questions I had just off the top of my head. I googled, but it seems the results are bit ....
for WA area.

You should come out and do an autocross day Idk about all of em but bremerton sports car club has practice days autocross isn't full speed but you WILL develop skills and understanding that you didn't have before
It is $50 to join for the year and 25 bucks an event if you pre register
The next autox at bremerton motorsports park is the 30th its a lot of fun hope to see you ill be there in the blue 350z

Should be fun, Friday is the Test and Tune $150
I'm sure you will incur more expenses, memberships, etc.. but road course is fun too! This is May 20th too, very soon.

Find one of those Boeing guys in the AutoX club that Boeing has and ask him if he can take you to one of their practice days. They have practices from Spring thru the fall. Much more economical, laid back and convenient than an autoX event. For the same price you get 2x as many runs (8-10). Depending on the turnout you can get as much as 4x (16 - 20 or more) as many or more runs than a typical autoX.
No experience necessary. They have loaner helmet. They run out of Sanderson Field in Shelton.
As Auto-X goes IMO, you tend to improve faster at actual events cuz the act of competing makes you think and focus better. The Boeing practices are better for tuning since you never feel the real 'urgency' to do better. Still plenty of fun though cuz you get to exchange cars at anytime you want w/ friends and do other things that aren't allowed at autoX events.
Also like warmmilk said, PGP is great intro to track driving. The Z does surprisingly well on that track.
