Default Decent Paint prices????

Does anyone know of decent body shops that don't rape customers? I got three quotes on Whidbey Island and they all land at about $650 to have a stock front end taken off, resprayed, and installed. Including a three day turn around.

Back in PA I had this done for around $350. Any ideas?

*bumper had blemishes when purchased and a week ago some one back into me spider cracking the paint but left no dents. Probably didn't realize they did it*

I had a busted up body kit that I was quoted at a shop with a decent reputation to Fix and repaint for around $800. Maybe keep looking?

Also if you have access to a socket wrench and a screw driver you don't need them to install it if they're charging alot, it's simple to DIY.

You'd just have to remove the front bumper, have them paint it, and install it yourself. It should take no longer than 10~15 minutes to remove or install the front bumper.

save yourself the labor costs and just bring them the bumper imo.

alternatively, you could call bel kirk body shop and ask for Tyler, he does great work and prices well.

More importantly...
How well can they match your paint?
Are they blending fenders?
What about the hood?

I got my V2 painted, they blended the fenders.
But my hood looked like blehhh.
Now I have a cf hood

I decided just to bite the bullet on this one. But I also got a nice new Greddy GRacer aero lip to be painted along with the bumper this Wednesday. And that ate my tax return, lol

$657 to remove and refinish the OEM bumper cover and an extra $150 to match and paint the lip. With a turn around time of three days. Definitely way more than it should cost and I probably would have paid around half of that back east. It's just setting back the purchase of my wheels an extra 1.5 months

That's pretty much what I paid to have my whole V2 kit painted PPW and have my fenders blended.

EDIT:
Supposedly over priced.

hey my name is Paul and I currently work at my uncle's auto body shop called T&H Auto body. If you guys are interested I can definitively help. We can repair your bumper etc or paint/blend for a reasonable price. I am currently repairing my friends VW R32 front bumper and spraying it for him. I'll post before and after pics soon. I have some ads up on craigs.

To get an idea, how much would you charge for:

Paint and put on my nismo lip (which will cover the bottom portion of the scraped bumper cover so no need to fix) and just fixing the 3white paint chipped areas?
