Default 2013 MARYHILL Z CAR EVENT - April 27th & 28th

2013 Maryhill Z Car Event:

This is both a spirited drive along the Columbia Gorge and on the 2nd day a little fun time on a private road coarse.
ZCCW has already rented the well known Maryhill road coarse for the PRIVATE USE of the Z cars attending this event. Those who don't know about this coarse Google Maryhill road for some action videos. This is a private road coarse used for spirited driving and will be a blast for those who enjoy driving their Z's through the many hairpin turns.

There are two meet up areas: One for northern Washington Z drivers and one for those joining from the southern Washington and Oregon area.

Here are the details from ZCCW's website:

.. I sucks at the video editing (first stab at it), but I made that from the 2010 run. some photos of things that weren't at maryhill - it's really an all around great trip, that whole area is excellent driving.

350znismo:

The only requirement is that you must have a Z Car!

NO sign-up, PRE-REGISTRATION or membership required. Just show up April 27th at the time & place of either the northern meet or the southern meet (the northern get-to-gether drives down to meet up with the southern group for a large group drive) .

They have a waiver to sign up for those joining the 2nd day's main event: The Maryhill Loop road course. - That's it!

Most Z cars taking part in this event go for the full 2 day action event (pre-booking a discounted room at the sponsor Inn - with large, fun, dinner and breakfast get-to-gathers at the Inn's on-site restaurant) while others will get up early on April 28th and drive out just for the main Maryhill road course event .

If you are going for both days of Z car fun YOU NEED TO BOOK YOUR ROOM NOW!!

The first couple videos at the top of this post are mine. I have a different Z now, but I'm definitely down to join in on the 28th. Hopefully I can get my LSD installed by then.

Z Car of Washington (ZCCW) is putting on this event - contact them for further details on that question.

I know there is a waiver for those joining the road course event - liability is likely addressed in that waiver.

Note: ZCCW is footing the bill for the road course event this year - prior years used to be a $15.00 per car fee

I'm pretty sure that the past event that I went to basically was that you sign a waiver saying that you're responsible for whatever happens. Definitely double-check with your insurance company to make sure that you're covered. Also, there weren't any emergency response vehicles on hand, but this event is more of a "spirited driving" event and definitely not a time-attack.

oh I know what their event is all about - my question is referring to the event insurance that the organizers are required to provide in order to rent out maryhill loop. since I don't have a Z anymore, I'd like to organize my own run but need a better idea of what this costs :]
