IRDC Drivers School at Pacific Raceways
IRDC (http://www.irdc-racing.com/) (ICSCC sanctioned) is holding their High Performance And Competition Driving School on Saturday-Sunday March 13-14 at Pacific Raceways (Seattle). Cost is $225 (covers both days).
There is another date this summer too, but I thought some of you might be interested in track days. I don't visit this forum a lot, but would be happy to answer any questions via email too.

Darn! Just going to miss it - I'm coming back to visit my Z on the 18th. It's getting better here in Detroit, but not good enough to bring the Z across the country yet.
Let us know when the next one is. Maybe I could make it before I relocate the car permanently. I did want to run at Pacific prior to leaving...

The second one this year is July 9th and 10th.
The first day of both of these schools is a classroom session which dicusses thing like braking , apexs, safety, and car preparation.
Hope to see some 350's out there!

Hi Jim,
I went to the High Performance and Competition Driving School last year in March. I don't know if you were there, but I was the guy w/ the CS 350Z. I had a great time, it was definately worth it. It would have been better had it not been raining and the oil spill at the end of the front straight had not happened. It was really cool, a great opprtunity to get feedback from the pros and a good place for a newbie like myself to cut his teeth on. I'd definately recommend it to anyone looking to get into competitive motorsports.

I wasn't at the school last March, I think I was prepping the car for the first race last year like crazy at the time. I won't be racing as much this year, so I have more time to help out the club.
I also help out the BMW School over in Spokane, so if anyone is interested in a 2 day school, with a lot of track time, and lots of great car people to meet, this is probably the best school in the Northwest. The S2000 club here usually has about 5 cars caravan out there from the Puget Sound area.
I highly recomend that one too, and this year it is March 27-28.

I found out last night from the IRDC club meeting, that clubs like this one (350Z) are given a $25 discount if there are 10 or more entries for the school.
10 might be a tough one here, but you are welcome to sign up with the S2000 club, who already has 5 people entered and would be happy to make the numbers work out.

Just put across the top of the form "S2000 Club" and they will know you are part of it.
I am pretty sure they have 10 already, so the discount should occur, and I think they will give back the $25 refund at the track or in the mail.
