good places to buy helmets in Seattle, WA area?
(sorry for the crosspost)
I might be going to a Northwest Alfa Club driving school event in Bremerton in a week... but it looks very likely I'l need to buy a helmet. Any recommendations on a cheap SA2000 certified helmet along w/good stores to find one around the Seattle area? I've heard of Speedware in Redmond but don't know any others.

I also have attended Alfa Club events, but with my Alfa. Haven't had the Z on the track yet.
Ducati of Seattle, right off Mercer Street, 711 Ninth Ave N., ph #206 298 9995, web site www.ducatiseattle.com is a good place to check'm out. Bought mine there.

I needed to check up on the helmet too. So I called Wes Ingram one of the tech. guys for this Alfa event this saturday at Bremerton. He said there would be some cub helmets available for use if you didn't have one. A helmet need to be Snell 90 rated or newer, shattter-proof eye protection (sunglasses are ok). He did recommend Speedware Motor Sports in Redmond as a good source. He also said that several members were trying to put a group together to do a group buy. Wes and J Hill know each by the way. So it looks like the SMS is the place for a quick buy. You probable already have the application but if you need any more information call Herb Sanborn 360 766 4405 or blue74gtv@earthlink.net.
