Default Have you been Recruiting?

Just wondering if I'm the only crazy one recruiting new members to our boards with the spot cards.

https://my350z.com/forum/announcemen...s=&forumid=140

I've tagged (if you will) about 5 or 6 Zs on the roads here and around Tacoma/Puyallup. Usually if I see one parked I'll pull up and lay one of the spot cards on their driver's side window. I never really know if it works, but it has to help at least.

I figure the more Z/G drivers and fans we get on these boards, the bigger our meets will be and the more fun we'll have.

All my friends think I'm crazy for leaving what they call "notes" on the Z's. They may be right, but I'm not ashamed.

So how about it? Have you guys been doing your part?

Jeff,

It's cool to see that you have such an attachment to your Z that you make the effort to do this. I've have enough encounter w/ other folks w/ 350Z's in the past few months to make me realize that the majority of folks w/ 350Z's here in our area are just not into them.

I can recall that about a year ago that if I saw a Z on the road ahead of me that I would speed up to catch it just to say hi to the driver and I'd get a warm greeting in return. Some days the same thing would happen to me. But now it seems that there must be hundreds of 350Z's in the Puget Sound area and it looks like there's not much unity in the community as there was before. (Someone please prove me wrong.)

I guess it was bound to happen. I mean what other car currently out there can get you the same bang-for-the-buck in looks, performance and history of the 350Z? (Probably a point of contention among the RX-8 lovers out there.)

But Jeff, don't let my belly-aching stop you. I'm glad you're still keep'n the faith. I look forward to hearing someone reply to your post that received a card from you.

Drive on Z driver, drive on.

I'd probably stick some out there...if I had the cards....

Then again, sometimes it's nice to have a faster/unique Z than the other guys that drive around here.

Joe- How's the car running? How's the tilton setup?? Is it driveable daily?

Not running right now it is on my frame rack in the air so we can finish installing the Greddy twin turbo. Should be finished by Friday next week. I can't wait. I am pretty used to the Tilton setup now, plenty daily driveable.

No I gave up on that guy, but I did order some new test pipes w/resonators from labree motorsports. They just happened to take about one week longer to get than I had expected, but they did show up yesterday. Should be running tomorrow.
