Default new wheels, suggestions? :D

Well, after having a riced out civic park next to me last night, sporting the exact same rims as me ... it got me thinking it might be time to change it up a little bit...

Anyone have a suggestion for wheels that won't break the bank? I am talking like sub $2k wheels.

I like these:

and these too:

I think zero to 60 posted a thread in the vendor section and he has a set of 20" volk GTC's for $1600 without tires.

yikes! 20" wheels?! It might look nice while parked ... but damn if it wouldn't rattle my teeth out and bend while driving around here! :icon18

I forgot to mention that I am looking for 18" , and possibly 19" (though it'd have to be a spectacular deal ... I already think the 18's ride harsh...

the nismo 18s aren't a bad deal for sub $2k wheels. I assume you're looking for $2k wheels only, not including tires right?

Well, in a perfect world, I would like to stay $2k-$2.5k with tires...

But I know how a lot of people feel about anything that isn't Volk or Work or HRE ... :icon18

I just can't afford that much on a whim, because some flyby ricer picked up a set of my rims. I like the AZA rims, because they are a copy of the SSR GT3 (which are pretty much out of my price range) ... AZA's are about $200 each *lol*

I wouldn't mind used either, if they are in good condition. So any of you Norcal'ers that are gonna upgrade, hit me up

Oh, and I can't get the Nismo's ... since Bill has them already, and we work in the same small town ... gotta be a little different, right Bill?

I like the look of these as well:

But I don't know if they make a good staggered offset for the Z (I'd like something with a lip on the rear) ... I like the Axis Hiro as well, but they only come in 19" , and the Reverb posted above come in 18"x8.5 and 9.5"

if you want make sure that no civic will have the same rims, then get wider rims with a low offset.

give me a few months, i may change rims again.

Yeah Michelle... I know what you mean. I guess it really didn't bother me that much, I just got a bug up my **** to try and be "different"

I wish I could have gotten in on your g-games when you sold em... those are nice too!

All of this is probabally a pipe dream, becuase I still really like my ADR's , for what they are worth... I just figured that 3 of them have curb dings, and I am going to need new tires soon ... *lol*

Here's a sneak peak at my spring/summer shoes . Doesn't exactly retail at sub $2K but I don't think any civic will roll on these . Look around carefully. I got a sweet deal on these rims from somone on this site for only $2500 (NIB) Shipped!!!:
