So I finally got with the times, and got my house an netflix account (I have two male roomies, we're all in our late 20's)

I heard Bring It On Again is a great bonding movie
. . . . or do what I do and go to the blockbuster site and look at the top 10 or new releases

I'm swtiching from nexfix to blockbuster this coming month . . .cheaper and you get one free rental at a store per month incase they don't send whatever in time.

 

I would recommend the movie Equilibrium. It about a future after WWIII where the government makes everyone take an emotion-numbing drug and outlaws anything that creates emotion (music, art, games, etc.) and they create a super-police force to enforce it. The movie is about what happens when their senior enforcer misses his drug one day. It has scenes on it that rival Matrix battles. Really awesome. It stars Christian Bale (from Reign of Fire). Just rented The Butterfly Effect, and I ended up seeing the alternate ending. Pretty damned trippy as opposed to the theatrical release ending from what I hear. If you haven't seen the "original" (Director's Cut) ending yet, check it out
