Side window tinting is illegal in CA, but I have it. I had the sides tinted to 50% visibility, so it's really light that it doesn't seem to be tinited.

Best place in the East Bay:
Omega Tintwerks, Pleasanton (MY350Z Forums Club Discounts) 925.227.1322 (Vince)

Boy...can Vincent talk..but great guy and excellent work.

CA Law allows:
4" strip on windshield (any %)
Front side windows...70% and cannot increase reflectivity
Back sides and rear can be any %

So is the titanium ish tint mirror like or is it dark?

Can this tint effect aftermarket alarms/radar etc?

Off late its getting really annoying having people look at you while driving.

My tint has a mirror quality to it. On cloudy days, they only look darker, but on sunny days, it is more reflective.

I went 50 sides and 5 on the back three

The 5 is a bit too dark though, my tip, when you are at the shop looking through the samples, put on your sunglasses and look through it. My main issues is it is hard to tell what cars have light bars on top

I have 50 on the sides & 35 on the rears. Mine is similar to Moodie's but mine is a darker gray metallic (gunmetal like tone) which matches perfectly with the SS. I wanted my rears to be darker but I also wanted it to just be slightly darker than the fronts so it'll be a subtle transition. I'm real happy with it & I think it's a perfect setup. It's hard to capture in pictures since it depends on the lighting. It is something you definitely have to see in person to really appreciate.

I got 5% on the 3 rears and 20% on the sides....Which the tint peeps said was the absolut lowest you can go.

I've been pulled over 3 times (2 for no reason at all, 1 for a ticket) and nothing was said about my tint.

My tint was done in San Bruno which isn't to far from you. I'm at work though so I don't have the info. PM me and I can get it to you....

I've never been pulled for my 50% in front and 5% in back 3. Personally I just don't want to deal with getting pulled over for no reason at all.
