They become just like your own kid. You raise them, watch them grow, even have expressions for their different moods. Then they age and eventually get sick or pass like yours. I hope you had enough time to spend with cookie and I hope you get over it soon. I have a Boxer named Tyson. He's a cancer survivor. He had surgery 10 months ago.
