I know what you mean tinsei. I've been working Mon - Sat every week since the Treasure Island run. I actually got tomorrow off, due to business to take care of, so I said.

02. Yellow Stealth [3 dents - Stealth, or 1 dent - 350Z] After Noon *confirmed
03. GTNPU Z [3 dents - 350Z] After Noon *confirmed
04. WSchli1972 (1 dent - 350Z)

06.2 --Boxster [ (1 stneD) - backward]
07.3 4myZ350's friends ---Rsx (1 Dent) -- ALL 3 - times to follow.
08. D87 [1 dent - G35 Coupe] 4:30pm *confirmed

Well, this is the list...Nice meeting you Selski. You and I made it anyway. Jack I was expecting to see you there. Missed ya...And nobody else there except Selski and myself. I'm definitely glad and very satisfied with the job performed. Chris did an excellent job on the dent removing...I had a serious ding in the rear quartpanel that was hard to get to and a regular ding. He was profficient, fast, and ever observing. If you have a ding, he's the guy to do it. I was quoted $325.00 to have it done at a shop and I got it done for $75.00 only by Chris. Hs tel# is925-462-1200 if you need any dings done, you won't be disappointed. He's out of Pleasanton. That's it for here.

Wait, this is not cool.

I drove all the way from SF and got there a little before 11am. The only Z I found between the IMAX and Black Angus was licensed DOLCEZ and had nobody in it. D87 (Danny) then showed up from SF also, and after waiting 45 minutes, I gave up.

When where you guys done? What happened?

Ok, Chris showed up there around 9:00 AM as he previously told me over the phone and as I mentioned above.

He fixed my dent in less than 10 mins and WSchli1972 followed right after. WSchli1972's dents didnt take long as well. Basically, we waited for over an hour and a half for someone else to show up but no one did.

As I mentioned earlier that he will not wait long for someone else to show up.
I asked if he could stay just for 10 minutes more right when he was about to leave and he agreed. I circled the area numerous times during the whole time there to see if a group was parked somewhere else. But, again nothing.

Im sorry if you didnt get your dents fixed, but I couldn't hold Chris for any longer. I guess its just not profitable enough for him to stay hours on after waiting for someone. Atleast he honored the discount rate, because he told me that it applies when there are usually 12-13 people confirmed to go before hand.

But, please don't take it out on Chris. He does an exceptional job fixing dents with the quality of work he provides at a very low price. He mentioned that for next time he may require that everyone be there already before he shows up. So that everyone signed up gets there dent fixed.

Again, Im sorry if you didn't get your dents fixed. There might be the possibility that he shows up to an upcoming BMW meet in Fremont coming up soon. I mentioned it to him and he sounded interested. Im going to let him know the details of the meet, and you can call him to see whether he will be there or not.

No problem, I understand. It's my fault for not getting someone's cell number before heading out.

Now that my car was hit on Thursday, I need to take it to the body shop anyway, so I guess I'll have the dent fixed then. Thanks for putting this together.

Though you stated that he was going to be there at 9:00, I think the problem was that nobody stated HOW long he was going to be there. I saw that some had scheduled "after noon" so I got there at 11:00 but Yellow Stealth was the only one I could find. Oh well, maybe next time we'll get all the times correct.
Can you give me Chris's phone number or how he can be contacted, I kinda wasted 100 miles on my car (and so did Stealth) coming from SF. Maybe he'll honor the $25 price (I only have one dent). Thanks.

EDIT: Just saw you had Chris's number.

EDIT #2: Just called Chris and he said he won't be able to honor the price because he was expecting alot more people Guess I'll have to wait until the next "group" dent day.

Yeah Yellow Stealth I know you had a drive. It was 89.5 miles from here to there and anotehr 89.5 miles back. I was there at 8:30am and we (my wife & I) ate breakfast at MIMI's CAFE on the right when we first came in. Best little Cafe I ate at in a good while. Good food, good service, good prices and good atmosphere. What more could person ask for.Saw Selski come in and then we joined them after breakfast. Chris is a excellent person for taking out dings. Good luck on getting your car fixed too... I get two dings fixed and now I have a scratch..never ending story...

sorry to hear that the dent day didn't go as planned. and i'm kinda surprised that only 2 people had their dents removed. i guess next time we'll have to make it for the afternoon and have at least 25 people signed up to make it worth Chris' time.

Brian, Dave or Jason: Can you please unsticky this?
