The purpose of this thread is to form a place for us Monterey Bay Area guys to talk. Of course, everyone is welcome as well.

 

Warren, Brandon, Saturday is a good day but not this saturday. I promise my boss that I would work at the KDON Freestyle selling beer. I'll see if I can get out of that but I'm available next weekend.

By the way, I just got back from LA and Z's are just every where down there.

 

this saturday is no good for me either...im going to be in SF,but next weekend works for me...any thoughts on where we should go? phu how was was your trip down south?

 

We should hit up the monterey/carmel area, maybe even down to big sur. You also mentioned 17mile drive, that would be great as well.

Should this be an all day event/half day? I'm thinking we can meet here in salinas somewhere near hwy 68 around 11am, than have lunch in Monterey or where ever. I do know of a great mexican restaurant back in the mountains off of 68 if you guys are interested. Does anyone have contact info for Dave?

The trip down there was cool but I'm glad I'm back. Brandon, aren't you leaving for vegas soon?

yeah monterey would be perfect..me and mike have our usual route it kinda starts on alvarado st. go up and over to cannery row pass the aquarium and cruise along lovers point (i think thats were you took your pics) and then 17 mile dr. and then back for lunch depending on the time...i know mike doesnt get out of work till 12:30 but he works @ pebble beach so he could meet up with us in monterey..Phu im not too sure when im leaving yet, im waiting to get an exact date from work on when we will be closing the doors on this place then i can figure out when ill be going but im thinking ill be gone by mid to late october...as far as daniel goes ill try to get in touch with him since he works rite up the street for me

Yeah, that sounds like a good plan. Let me contact 4my350z about the list and maybe some of those guys may join us. I've talked to a few guys from up there and they're expressing interest in coming down. I'm sure this won't be as big as rr/ti but it can be just as fun.

 

I'm available anytime for any route. We can just plan it out. Also there's a Dent Day thread started, which I've singed up on, don't have the date on it yet though. So first step would be any Sat, all's available. I'm going to send send out some emails to my friends also that have Z's, 300zx's , 350z's here. See what we can get going. Phu says he loves Colorado and it's snow on his car..... :-) (Just had to say that, what's life without a little fun).

I have a few dents in my car, would love to attend. Also, guys, this Sunday at Marina Air base, AutoX, $30 & DOT approved helmet and you're all good. I don't think I will make it but just letting you know.

I saw daniel's car at work today but couldn't stop to say hi, maybe tomorrow.

 

Phu: I'll let you know soon as a date, time, and place is set. And of course will have it mapped out. I'll put you on the list also, and then when Chris (the dent guy) sets up everything we'll be set. He did the last one, and everybody said he excellent on their cars and not expensive either. Anybody else want to go dent day when it's set, let me know. I just got a pm from Mike and he'll be on this thread, also interested in a get together too, long as he's not pre set on something else on the date we decide.

 

It looks like its gonna be next Saturday for the Meet/Drive. I've also pm a few guys from up north to come join us.

scratch next saturday i just remembered i have a wedding to go to that day might have to wait till the following weekend..uless you guys still want to get something together next weekend

Sunday the Oct 2nd? That should be good or Sat Oct 1st or Sat Oct 8th. Sat'sare usually best due to my church duties, etc. I actually took off for the RR/TI run. But I'm flexible always. Once we set a date and time, I'll notify a couple friends here. We'll need date/time/route plan so I can give it to them too.
Daniel you live in Soleday, but work in Salinas I believe, right? (or wrong)......

lets make it sunday the 2nd, meet in salinas at around 10am and head down Hwy68 to monterey. Somewhere in there we must hit up 17mile drive.
