I just got paged into work and I work tomorow to. I tentavely have Sun off.

That would be too cool, odds of me getting paged on a Sunday are about 10%. Friday Night 100% lately. I'll be in the Oak Park erea till 0300. Anyone familiar with Oak Park will symthasize.

 

Well, I was there and all I saw was a black Z parked in the back. I went inside and asked for the reservations that were made and the the young gals said there were no reservations made. I got there around 7:30 and looked everywhere but I didn't know what anybody looked like. What a drive that was, man it was ugly I drove from Union City to Pittsburg picked up the wife and went straight to Dixon. Traffic on 80 was terrible it took me 45 min to get onto 80 from Cordilia.The ride back home was better. Hopefully next time we should share cell numbers to contact one another.

Well, I showed up... Sorry Shaun that it didn't really work out - I think that Friday meets in Sacramento just don't work. I spent 2 and a half hours in traffic trying to get there. Too many people trying to make it to the ski country and it just gets clogged up all up I80.

Well, I really wish I could've met you guys. I even had the Marin run map - that was gonna be your special treat! Anyways, hope you guys all had a good night (I ended up spending it in Davis, so its all good)...

Were you the guy that came in the 300z?

The reservations were for 8:30 because they didn't have any earlier but they said we wouldn't have a problem getting in early. I told them my name and that I was waiting for others in the bar and to direct them to me if anyone showed. I even checked back with them every 20mins or so. They'd say "no, nobody has asked".

I finally left at about 8:15. DCZONER (Dave) called me from Cattlemen's about 8:30. We missed each other.

Sorry everyone I missed you. I work swing today and I am supposed to get a schedule for next week tonight.

Attending GTG's has always been a hard thing for me because of the odd hours I must work.

I have 1900-0300 7pm to 3am
2000-0400 8pm to 4am
1500-2300 3pm to 11pm
and 2300-0700 my worst one. 11pm to 7am

Sometimes all 3 in one week plus a pager but it pays for my toys.

I used to have Fri/Sat off then Sun/Mon this week who knows?
That is why I won't be renewing my Trans Am Club dues, can't attend the meetings.

 

I was in a Silverstone 350Z. I asked those two retarded girls at the front desk for Pearson or 350Z people, The first time she said no one by that name had reservations so we walked around the place but I didn't know what you looked like. The second time I asked her she got mad at us so we left.......

 

Yeah, those girls at Cattlemens are pretty dense. I asked them for your table (thought it was at 7:30), and they were like "sure, right this way", and then when they showed me to the table (actually the room where the table was supposed to be), they were like "here you go" - I told her I didn't know what you looked like and she just sorta stared at me blankly like I was talking in another language. Conversation went kind of like this:

"You don't know who you're meeting?"

"I don't know what they look like, no..."

"Well how were you supposed to meet them?"

"A table for Shaun at 7:30, and that's where I'd find them"

"Oh, well... umm... do you know what any of them look like?"

"No, I'm from out of town."

"Oh... uh.... what table were they at?"

Oh well, you weren't even there anyways, so no biggie.

 

Yeah, this whole thing was pretty messed up. Those girls were retarded.

We have plenty of time to try again.... We just got our Z's not to long ago. We have all summer, It stays light longer also.
