I've mentioned before that one of our members, BENCH, was kind enough to record the meet and put a nice DVD video together. A few of us have seen it already and enjoyed it very much. It captures the essence of the meet and is a good memento for those that attended.

I originally wanted to provide everyone that attended a free copy of it until I found that it's not that cheap to make DVD copies. In any case, I've gone out and purchased the blank discs, cases, etc. and one of our members, 350Zzzz, has generously offered to burn the copies. He will be posting a sample video here for you to get an idea of what the DVD includes.

Because of the material costs involved (approx. $250), we are asking for a donation of $10.00 each shipped and $8.00 each if I personally hand it to you. I am not interested in making any money on this deal. If I receive any money above my material costs, I will put the money into a fund to be used towards next year's meet.

I will have some copies with me on the 24th at Shibby's meet in NJ and I should have all of them before the end of the month.

Please advise if you are interested in a copy and I will post soon details of where to send money if you will not be attending the meet. I am starting with only 50 copies so if you want one I suggest you let me know immediately and I will put you on my list.

Sorry guys, did not get a chance to get the video clip up online before I left for my vacation. Presently, writing this from Dublin, and will be driving down to Kilkenny this morning, will try to work something out with my laptop and get a clip up on line by end of this week.

I am hoping to have some with me for the meet. 350Zzzz got the DVD from me last Thursday and went on vacation on Saturday so he didn't have alot of time to burn alot of copies. He is coming back the weekend of this meet so I'll know then how many I'll have with me. I'll keep everyone posted.

Did you receive the first few duplicates from my brother?

Managed to produced a clip on my laptop, in html & flash, now all I have to do is to figure out how to connect my laptop directly to the web. Up till this point I am accessing the web from someone else's system. The FTP client is on my notebook, and I need that for uploading the file onto the web; i.e. for viewing.

Will see what I can do, definitely a challenge!

It is a pretty fun video down memory lane; especially seeing the various mods. that zee owners have come up with.....so far

I received one DVD copy on Wednesday and played it. Everything looks fine. When you get back, please let me know how many copies you think you'll have available as I have a list of people interested in it.

Don't go nuts trying to do the video clip while you're on vacation. This can wait until you get back.

If memory servers me well I recall burning 15 copies, before I left; I will shoot for about 30 copies, on hand, for Sunday's NJ meet.

The weather is wonderful, over here; suns out and cool in the shade......not humid at all. Got some color obviously

Saw lots of Nissans in various shapes and sizes, which I've never seen the lights of back home. But, unfortunately not one Zee in sight.....no Zee sightings.
