They were really great guys. No ego problems or anything like that. they would talk to you as long as you wanted to talk. It was great!

 

If John Force had been there I doubt anybody would have had time to race. He'd chew your ear off all day

 

They spoke highly of him, but not Pedregon.

My ? was which Pedregon didn't they speak highly of since there are 3 - Tony, Cruz or Frank.

Aren't those karts a blast. On that 2nd right hander where the long straight away is, I didnt know that you couldn't brake while it was starting to slightly turn so it took me about 2 laps or so to figure out that you must brake way early and then gas the rest of the way out. Otherwise you end up doing a 360 into the dirt. By gassing out of the apex you end up drifting out of the corner. If anyone ever has a chance it is well worth it. Forget those indoor karts cuz these are about 2x maybe almost 3x faster.

 

They can easily do 80. I learned a lot during the day. I didn't realize that turn before the start/finish had a little bank to it. made a big difference after that, since I could go into it a lot hotter and exit with more speed for the straight.
It is a very deceiving turn...............along with a few of the other turns.
