Cams
In my quest for gaining as much N/A hp as I can without building the engine, I stumbled on a set of cams called Pro-1. They claim big power, compromising every day driving. That's fine with me, well actually more of what I'm looking for. Anyone know anything about the Pro-1s and how they compare to JWT, Stillen, Nismo etc? Most people I talk to seem to agree that the JWTs are the best making somewhere around 13 RWHP. Any info on any cams would be appreciated. Thank you.

I'm not sure, I was hoping that someone would know. All that was said about it was it has a big horse power gain and that it sacrafices drivability for performance.
this is what Sharif @ Forged Internals told me when i asked the same question as you (since i found a deal for Nismo cam around $600)
Upgrading cam shafts is one of the most expensive NA mods you can do. I usually dont recommend it, unless someone is committed to staying NA, and they have no plans to build the motor.
THe majority of people that install cams, do so in conjunction with a full engine rebuild. Installing cams, alone is about $1200-$1500 in labor alone, and with an NA car, you can expect about 20whp max improvement.

If it costs that much just to install cams, I might as well go ahead and do new heads and connecting rods as well. Just go ahead and do it all at once I suppose.

If you are staying NA and want the most top end power you should look into the Tomei 268 cams. If you have a pre rev-up engine then you may want to think about some heavy duty springs and raising the rev limiter to 7100.
Unless you are looking to get crazy. Then the part list grows and grows.
nateG35, not to start any ****, but Ted buys his cams, he doesn't grind them himself.
