Default Missing Fawn Boxer South San Jose

I came home yesterday to find my Boxer missing from home. Gate was closed and he was not there. Please, if you hear or see anything let me know. His name is Tyson, he is 9 yrs old. He has been microchipped but had no collar on. He was last in the Blossom HIll & Cahalan area. Here is a pic of him. He had cancer and is on a special diet, Thanks.

I contacted them yesterday but they were already closed so at 11 when they open im going to look for him. I called the Microchip company and they said he had not been scanned in yet. So, I hope he's ok where ever he may be.

Bruce sorry to hear this.

Pray you'll find him soon. Make sure you look at the boards while at the center. Sometimes, people only post on the boards and it's not an exact description. However, looking at them can get you time and place info that might lead to recovery. It did for my New Foundland a number of years back before chip technology.

My American Eskimo is chipped now as well. Check to make sure the different Shelters have the capability to scan. Some do not I was told on when she (my dog) was chipped. I think Santa Clara, Alameda, Contra Costa scans, not sure about San Mateo Co. however.

Hope you find him soon ...... AJ

So sorry about your loss. I hope he had an ID tag (edit - Awww man...no tags).

How much does your boxer weight?

I named my boxer Tyson first...but went with Rocky Balboa.

Hopefully Tyson will return home ASAP.

Here's Rocky - 6 weeks old

Thumbs up

Thank you for all your prayers and support.

As luck would have it, my dog Tyson found the nicest people in the area.
Thank you Dan & Jamie Pfister. They found Tyson yesterday at 10am roaming the street no further than a half mile from our house. They approached Tyson and said "Stay" and he stood, then they said "Get in" and he jumped into their BMW X5. I guess the Z isn't nice enough for him. They took him home and took very good care of him and even let him in the house. They had a Boxer female of their own that Tyson seemed to have a crush on.

To back track a little, I went to the San Jose Animal Center and looked through the Kennels and saw all the sad and lonely lost dogs. As we kept getting closer, and closer to the final Kennels my hopes were getting shot. When we reached the final Kennel I was heart broken because he was not there. I felt so bad for the other dogs tho because they were sad, dirty, and the cages were full of feces. So they asked me to check the Found and DOA log book. I was thinking the worse. I looked in the found first and guess what! I see his report on the top. These people went way out of their way. They also placed Giant flyers that read " Found!!!! Boxer. Guess when your looking for a Fawn Boxer a RED flyer doesn't appear. They are real estate agents and if you happen to want to give them a call tell them this story.

Me and Tyson are gonna enjoy the rest of the day together. Thanks again to all of you for the support. Nice lookin boxer, Cessna I know how you felt man.

I'm glad all worked out well.
Its nice to know that there are others out there whom would have the time and compassion to help someone or something (in this case an animal) out...
Sounds like he made have made an item with the female eh?lol!
Glad you guys are back together,

Lou.
