I went down south to visit the Datsun roadster show in Solvang and the MSA show in Orange. What a weekend! MSA had some badmofo Z's and G's. I went down with Corsair and Lou in their 350z's and Rob in his RB240z.

Hey Lou did you get the Vette? I couldn't tell and it was right before we split up. It looked like you guys did 3 runs and then he bailed on the exit ramp.

 

Wasn't even close. On the third one he was two car lengths ahead of me and I was still about to pass him when he turned off.

 

What time did you make it home? I got back at 12 AM. I'm leaving tomorrow for Indio, CA. Another 500 mile roadtrip down to Socal. Am I insane? I must be!

I couldn't tell if the vette was going to run or not so I tried "rationing" my memory space...when I saw you guys go it was too late...the 'vette guy was PISSED! He had a lady in the car too...good times!!
I don't even think he wanted to take that exit...it was a super random one.

I got home around 1:30AM. I grabbed a quick bite and a cup of coffee at Liz's before heading out. It didn't help much I was sleepy the whole ride home.

I love the take off video. You can see where I laid rubber in 1st and 2nd gear!

Yeah I noticed that too. Lou, I don't think you'll have to worry about changing your rear tires to something else if you keep driving like that!

 

The DR's will last the summer and then I will switch to a street tire in the fall.
