nooooo, OH well, look at it this way James, things happen for reasons all the time. Perhaps there is a better opportunity waiting for you. If im not mistaken didn't you commute a long way or something. So you'll probably get to find a closer gig and keep the Z well dressed like you always do. I'll keep my eye open and let you know of any opportunities. This is one of the reasons why Im moving on from IT, IT is overhead and when cuts come they seem to get a big brunt of the cuts. Good thing is every company needs IT in some way or fashion, only thing i don't like is that they seem to want everything for nothing, ie., Unix,Windows, Exchange and Desktop support from 1 person for 40-50k a year, suck a nutt! Sorry, I'm not looking into relocating at the moment. I'm searching for jobs around the Bay Area specifically around the South Bay, East Bay, or Peninsula. I had some time to think last night & I think I do want to change up my career path. I've always wanted to get into the video gaming or graphical design industry since I've always been an artsy type of guy & the only reason why I didn't persue it in the first place is because everyone at that time told me that IT was the way to go. Now I just want to go somewhere where I can utilize my creative side w/ my technical + management background. I've also contemplated going back to school to take more classes focused in these areas as well. I know I may not get paid no where near what I did before for but I'm willing to start from the ground up if it's somthing I'm going to like doing (if that makes sense). Any ideas?
