Default serramonte nissan sucks

my s2k antenna and the antenna-base got stolen so today i went to buy the antenna-base at serramonte nissan dealer. it costs like 18.73. at first i thought it's okay not that much, but i just found out that it costs 7.90 at performance nissan. i just don't understand why is it such a big difference? how come serramonte nissan costs a double for the same part?

sorry, you got ripped off....you should;ve done some more research before you purchased it. oh well.....return it and buy another one from performance nissan or if you have installed it, buy one from performance nissan and return it back to serramonte....

how much will it be after you include tax and shipping from performance nissan? I think it'll be around the same price plus a few days wait for it to arrive at your door.

i don't know, cuz i didn't order from performance nissan. but im sure it will be cheaper than serramonte nissan. look, $7.90 for the antenna-base tax is around $2.50 plus shipping like $5.00. come out the total around $15.40, and this is with tax and everything. comparing to serramonte nissan $18.73, and that's without tax.

Their sales people are horrible as well. When I went in there shopping for my Z, they didn't seem interested in selling.

erwin is the dude with the vette right? He BSed me before. I had TPs on thus my CEL went on. I went in for an oil change and when i finally came back he drove my car to me and said i noticed you have modifications and your CEL was on. Well we fixed it for you so it wont come back on anymore. Initially i though wow they really cared for my car. They added fowlers free of charge! Then after 10-20mis of driving the CEL came back on and i said to myself, too good to be true.

I was very shocked at their customer service the first time i went to get my oil changed. I came from Infiniti customer service (since i owned a G35 before) just the block up and it was already a night and day difference. Then i slowly realized, i own a NISSAN! After waiting over an hour for a simple oil changes i decided not to go back there anymore. I rather let a local shop change my oil, afterall how hard is it to change oil. It's no rocket scienece, i can do it myself but i rather be doing something else haha. I can go out and have lunch and come back and it will be done.

I wish my oil change had only taken 1.5 hours. I had made an appointment right when they open (around 7am), didn't leave until about 10:30 or 11am. The best part is, it took about 2.5+ hours for the oil change. Then my car sat outside for another hour or more while I waited for them to take care of the paperwork so I could get the F out of there. Even though my car was done, and sitting outside for over an hour, they kept taking care of people that had just arrived to drop their cars of, etc. all the while telling me "5 more minutes and we'll get you outta here". I regret being so patient and not getting upset.
My next visit was for a few issues I had concerns about, hoping at least some would be addressed/resolved. Issues like, a sharp squeak from the left rear when hitting a bump, or coming to a complete stop. Tranny whine has gradually become louder. A periodic, loud tick from the engine area that started outta nowhere (I told them about a TSB which might be related to this). I also inquired about the throw-out bearing noise and if that could possibly be resolved.
Anyways, they had the car for a day and a half. Not a single issue was resolved, and I highly doubt they even looked at the car. I was told nothing could be duplicated by them. They had never heard of a single person complain about these noises/issues. So basically it was a huge waste of my time and money I spent on the rental car. Thanks Serramonte Nissan!

I know for a fact that they sometimes don't even look at the car. When I brought it to them with TSB in hand for the "drifting to the right problem", they told me they could not reproduce the problem.

Well, no wonder > the mileage on my car was the same as when I gave it to them...

Since I recognize the names, I know GEE SE-R above is referring to Serramonte Nissan.

I just brought mine there for the first time last week for a minor service. Much smaller facility which actually felt nice because it was less busy and less chaotic. Talk to Chris who is very nice and professional. Service Manager (Ben) is professional but a little bit on the dry side.

Good news:
The minor service which is $192 full price ($179 if you get their mailings) at Serramonte is only $149 at Daland. Also, since I brought my own oil and wheels can't be rotated, air filter can't be changed for me (I have a pop-charger), they only charged me $90 + tax without me even asking for a break.
Also, they were done with my minor service within about an hour (or maybe 90 minutes).

Bad news:
Service manager refuses to do technical service bulletins for free now that my basic warranty is expired (even though I have an extended warranty). Nissan corporate confirmed that it is at the discretion of the dealer.
