Default Drive Safely Guys

I just wanted to put this message out to remind all of you that it only takes a second, one bad driver, one wrong move to change your driving experience.

Last night I was coming home with my girl after picking her up at a party, and I came upon a pretty vicious accident. The accident occurred at the Hwy 680/Hwy 4 interchange. There was a total of 4 cars involved, 2 of which took off right after the fact. The other two cars were both totalled. The two cars that were totalled were a new F150, and a small Toyota Tercel. A guy and his girlfriend in the truck, and a girl in the Tercel. They were all ok, with minor pains here and there.

I stayed to help as long as I was needed (just before 3am, about an hour)... Between diverting traffic, trying to help the girl in the Tercel, and trying to get CHP and local law enforcement on the scene, it was pretty intense. Hopefully all turned out ok. They were all somewhat shook up.

Anyway, please drive safely out there guys. I hate seeing accidents, and the thought of coming up on something like that, knowing it was a friend or family member of my own is even worse...

Be safe and drive smart.

I guess I just hope if I were in that situation, people would stop and help me...

I firmly believe in Karma and also the whole "play it forward" theory..
