Default Salinas/Monterey: Take my challenge n win free dinner!!

So all you crazy Salinas, Monterey or anyone in the area.....I'm BACK!!! and here's my challenge.

Bring out ANY Z, (TT, Supercharge, Warp Drive) to take on a 300C SRT Hemi.

We'll keep this simple, beat me in a straight line and I'll buy dinner (Up to $40).

I just flew in for work and I'll be here till Sat, Oct. 7 at 10AM (I'm staying in Salinas)

Who dares!!! Come on Warren, Lets see those APS Twin Turbo!

PS. The SRT has been worked on by John Hennessey

Good to be back in Monterey.

There's no such thing as a useless post in an already useless thread

Thanks, just till this Sat morning. Monterey is so beautiful. You tend to not fully enjoy it till you leave. Its a shame I can't be here longer, the girls are oh so tough to resist here.............

Gabe and I were just talking about we should get together before you leave. No I don't have the APS TT on my car. But you should visit Ted (remember of Scotts Performance), he sold his business there and now owns the Lambo/Ferrari shop in Gilroy. He sold his black 350Z convertable, you know the widow (650hp), and now has a Lambo TT which is of course more aggressive. That would make a good race.
What are you doing tomorrow "Friday" evening?

I know Ted. He's got a nice Chopper, too.

Did this race ever happen?

BTW, anyone know Matt w/ a red Z and white stripes on the side? Any mods on his car?

It was pleasent. I've read the same thing about him as well on varies car mags. Please also note that this isn't my car, its my brother. I didn't meet John, but here's what my brother said when he meet him:

When he got there, John was sleeping in his office with his legs on his desk. John knew who my brother was since they've spoken on the phone many times before.

John took him for a ride on one of his customer's vipers (John drives like a madman) yeah, I hope the owner of the viper doesn't know this.

John then threw my brother the keys to his personal car and said, "Do what ever you want with it for as long as you want and if you crash it you buy it".

After the "test run", John took him to lunch and answer any remaining questions. My brother stated he was very nice and informative but not a very personal guy. Not to say he was jerk, just that he doesn't have the ppl skills that someone in his position should have.

K, Anyone want to meet this Saturday (tomorrow) morning and race the 300C? Com'n guys, life time oppertunity!
