Here is their web address. It's about 2 hours north of SF in a town called willows.

http://thunderhill.com/

Come on out!. It's not going to be 100 degrees like your typical day at the T-hill. It's also the season closer that will determine who the time trial season championship will go to . Come route on Team Z Car Garage for the gold medal and possible picture with the trophy girls.

i just came back from thill today with unlimitedlaps.com.....

like jondi says, turn 5 is a blind turn. it's an uphill turn but instinctively you want to turn right. fix your sights on a horizon and make a left turn....turn 9 is another blind turn but when u exit from the apex, just WOT the middle of the track =) have fun out there everyone and be safe....

Just got back from NASA's event... and I have to say NASA is a pretty awful organization. I almost was refused because they claimed to not have any more instructors.. how do you not have enough instructors for all the new drivers?? honestly.

Anyhoo, man I felt really humbled out there at my driving ability. There was just so much to concentrate on I couldn't even shift properly sometimes. BIG PROPS to DAVE for being a great instructor and helping me out my first time. Plenty to think about and review in my head. Hope to see you out there again sometime.

Btw: I saw that thread in the road racing forum, are people actually running 2:11's bone stock? that seems kinda ridiculous...

Hey, It is very possible for a G or Z to run 2:11 bone stock. My friend and I both ran 2:11 with street tires (Hankook Ventus R-S2 ), all we had were high temp brake fluid and track pads.

Glad you had fun. Just for the record, the reason there were no more instructrors was because they were assigned to some group 2 students who attended the 7:30 drivers meeting. Set your alarm next time Instructors are required to sign up 30 days in advance, and the number of group 1 students is limited to the number of instructors who register. At any rate, I was happy to double up on students to help you out. Good job in the Z!

For those that have run 2:11 with stock tires, please post a video. You've got me beat by a couple of seconds
